राजस्थान का लोक नृत्य घूमर जिसे महिलाओं का नृत्य कहा जाता है, क्योंकि इसे हर छोटे बड़े समारोह में सिर्फ महिलाएं ही करती आई है. लेकिन अब ऐसा बिल्कुल नहीं है क्योंकि इस परम्परा को तोड़ने का काम किया है राजस्थान के अजीत सिंह तंवर ने, जो है तो इंजिनियर लेकिन अब घूमर को उन्होंने एक अलग ही पहचान दी है. उनके अलग अंदाज में घूमर नृत्य करने के दीवाने देश-प्रदेश में ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशों तक है. यहां तक कई बॉलीवुड सेलिब्रिटीज को भी वो अपने इशारों पर घूमर नृत्य करवा चुके है.जी हाँ, राजस्थान के सीकर के एक छोटे से गाँव मांवडा कलां के रहने वाले अजीत सिंह तंवर वर्तमान में जयपुर में रहते है, जो सोशल मीडिया पर छाए हुए है. उनके घूमर के एक-एक स्टेप को अब महिलाएं ही नहीं बल्कि पुरुष भी कॉपी कर रहें है. सोशल मीडिया इन्फ्लुएंसर अजीत सिंह के घूमर करने के अंदाज और राजस्थानी ड्रेस के साथ मंद मंद मुस्कान के उनके लाखों फॉलोअर्स दीवाने है. यहीं नहीं अजीत सिंह डांस इंडिया डांस, इंडियाज गॉट टैलेंट जैसे कई रियलिटी शो में भी धूम मचा चुके है और कई फिल्मों में भी अभिनय कर चुके है. लेकिन अजीत सिंह के जीवन की कहानी भी किसी फ़िल्म की स्टोरी से कम नहीं है.अजीत सिंह बताते है कि जब वो शुरुआत में ग्रामीण अंचल में डांस करते थे तब पारिवारिक लोग ही उनकी हंसी उड़ाते थे. यहां तक की गाँव वाले भी भांड कहकर तंज कसते थे. उस जमाने में भांड शब्द सुनकर मानों कानो में से रक्त आना बाकि रह गया हो ऐसी स्थिति हो जाती थी. लेकिन कभी हिम्मत नहीं हारी और इसी घूमर नृत्य को पैशन बनाकर आज पुरा जग जीत लिया. यहीं नहीं जो लोग भांड बोलकर तंज कसते थे वो आज उनकी एक अदद झलक पाने को तरस जाते है, लेकिन कभी किसी का बुरा नहीं सोचा सिर्फ अपने काम से अलग पहचान बनाई.हालांकि शुरुआत में बहुत मुश्किलें आई क्योंकि अजीत सिंह एक राजपूत परिवार से आते है जहां पुरुष कभी ऐसे नृत्य नहीं करते है, लेकिन अजीत ने अपनी माँ को घूमर करते देख ठान लिया की डांस करके ही एक अलग पहचान देनी है. इसके बाद इंजीनियरिंग छोड़ कोलकाता की एक डांस एकेडमी में तैयारी शुरू कर दी. जूनून ऐसा की रात-दिन मेहनत कर भूख प्यासे डांस की दीवानगी में सब कुछ भूल बैठे. लेकिन एक दिन ऐसा आया जब डांस इंडिया डांस सीजन-3 के ऑडिशन देने के बाद उनका चयन हुआ तो उसके नाराज पापा को यकीन नहीं हुआ. लेकिन जब टीवी पर लाइव परफॉर्म करते देखा तो पापा क्या पुरा परिवार झूम उठा. इसके बाद अजीत डांस इंडिया डांस सीजन 4 में भी ऑल इंडिया टॉप 42 तक गए. इसके बाद इंडियाज गॉट टैलेंट सीजन 4 के सेमी फाइनल लिस्ट भी रहें. फिर एक बॉलीवुड फ़िल्म हसटर में अभिनय कर टीवी की दुनियां में कदम रखा.इसके कोरोना की दस्तक ने मानों अजीत सिंह का सब कुछ बदल कर रखा दिया. डांस शोज बंद हो गए और सपना रुक सा गया लेकिन अजीत सिंह ने राजस्थानी नृत्य घूमर को फूल फॉर्म में अपनाया और इसे अलग अंदाज में पेश किया. इसके बाद सोशल मीडिया पर लगातार वीडियोज अपलोड किए जो करोड़ों व्यूज में गए. इतना प्यार देखकर उन्होंने राजस्थानी डांस की एकेडमी खोली जिसमें वो नई प्रतिभाओ को निखारने का काम कर रहें है. इसके आलावा ऑनलाइन डांस क्लासेज भी लें रहें है जिसमें कई देशो के युवक और युवतियां घूमर नृत्य सिख रहें है. आज अजीत सिंह सोशल मीडिया पर काफी सुर्खियों में बने रहते है और उनके वीडियोज धमाल मचा रहें है.
